Cliantech Solutions has signed a deal with Sahaj Solar to set up a 1.5 GW solar module production line, cementing a major partnership at this year’s REI Expo.
The deal includes an initial order for 750 MW of solar modules, which Sahaj Solar confirmed on October 3. The remaining 750 MW is scheduled to be commissioned after Q2 2025.
Cliantech attributes its continued success to strategic partnerships with leading technology providers. In this particular project, Cliantech will utilise advanced solutions from partners such as GAORUN (for line automation), Visual (laminators), Asicpy (EL Tester), and HSPV (Sun Simulator/IV Tester) to ensure optimal quality and cost-effectiveness. The company is known for its turnkey manufacturing services and has deployed several equipment installations across India.
Sahaj Solar has been making strides since its inception in 2010. The company is dedicated to providing innovative solar solutions that improve the quality of life of underserved communities. Recognized by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Sahaj Solar specializes in high-performance solar PV modules using crystalline PV technology.
With a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gujarat, Sahaj Solar continues to grow and achieve key milestones such as achieving a global export milestone in 2019. The company was listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in July 2024.
